PYT Theater Workshop (All Ages)
- Time: 4:45 PM - 6:00 PM (90-minute session, stay for the whole session or drop in along the way)
- Location: Room 304
- Capacity: 25 participants
Step into the world of theater with this engaging workshop, open to all levels and ages. Led by Mind-Builders' Theater Department (PYT), the session includes interactive theater games, acting exercises, and a brief performance. No prior experience is necessary, and the environment is supportive and community-oriented. This workshop reflects the core learning experiences at PYT and is a great way to meet the passionate instructors guiding our students throughout the year.
*Participants should wear comfortable clothing for movement. 1 Parent per child/student is welcome to observe.
Dance Merit Auditions (Ages 10-17)
- Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
(Be Prepared to stay for the full 2 hours and learn several routines.) - Location: Room 201
Audition for the opportunity to join Mind-Builders' Dance Merit program and receive a scholarship. Our Dance Merit Scholarships provide recipients with tuition waivers, deep discounts, intensive training, and exciting performing opportunities.
Requirements:
- Ages 10 -17 | Minimum 1 yr Dance Experience/Training
- Dance Attire: Leotard & tights or close-fitting T-shirt & leggings; bare feet or dance shoes
- All dancers must audition to be considered, RSVP is required.
