Theater at Mind-Builders Creative Arts Center develops expressive performers and disciplined collaborators across styles including acting, musical theater and techniques such as improvisation.
Students train in acting, voice and stagecraft, while building self-awareness and presence.

TEACHING THEATER SKILLS TO GENERATIONS
Mind-Builders has been providing theater instruction to students in the Bronx since 1984. At the time, Positive Youth Troupe Theater (PYT) was founded as a traveling ensemble.
Esteemed alumni include Alimi Ballard, Gilbert Glenn Brown, Ayodele Casel, Nelson Chamilio, Mylika Davis, Andre Dell, Duane Chivon Ferguson, Charles Malik Whitfield to name a few.
